Thailand Headlines Person of the Year Awards.

This accolade follows a banner year for Mint, during which she transitioned from a promising "rising star" to a household name. Whether she is portraying the intricate emotions of a daughter in Dujapsorn or enchanting audiences with her on-screen chemistry alongside Kongthap Peak, Mint has proven that she is more than just a fresh face, she is the future of Thai lakorn.

A Star is Born in Mint Ranchrawee

Born on September 9, 1998, in the Nakhon Ratchasima province of Thailand, Ranchrawee Uakoolwarawat, better known by her nickname Mint, has rapidly ascended from a provincial athlete to one of the most luminous figures in the Thai entertainment industry. Growing up as the middle child with an older and a younger brother, she spent much of her youth dedicated to competitive sports. Before the cameras found her, Mint was a formidable badminton player, representing her hometown with such skill that she earned a silver medal at the National Youth Games and a bronze at the National Sports Festival. Her athletic prowess was even recognized with a prestigious royal trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, a testament to the discipline and drive that would later define her acting career.

Mint’s transition into the spotlight began around 2018 when she signed with Channel 3, one of Thailand’s premier television networks. She made her debut in the drama Kharm See Tan Dorn, but it was her role as Ling Ling in the 2019 series Daai Daeng that truly signaled the arrival of a significant new talent. Unlike many who rely solely on their aesthetic appeal, Mint brought a grounded, emotional depth to her characters, likely forged during her years as an athlete. Her breakout on the big screen came in 2020 with the leading role in Classic Again, a Thai remake of the iconic South Korean film The Classic. Starring alongside New Thitipoom, she successfully captured the nostalgic, heart-wrenching essence of the story, earning widespread acclaim for her ability to carry a major cinematic production.

As her career progressed, Mint became a staple of Thai television, showcasing her versatility in a variety of genres. From the romantic tension of Praomook to the historical intrigue of Lai Kinnaree, she proved herself capable of navigating complex narratives. Her status as a "New Princess of Entertainment" was solidified with her leading role in the massive Duangjai Dhevaprom project, specifically in the series Duj Apsorn. In this high-profile sequel to the legendary Suphatrabhat series, she played the titular character Dujapsorn, a role that demanded both grace and a nuanced portrayal of a woman caught between family loyalty and love. Her performance was widely regarded as a career-defining moment, earning her the "Most Popular Young Girl" award at the 2025 KAZZ Awards and a spot among the "50 ICONS" by Lifestyle Asia.

Beyond the screen, Mint remains a dedicated student of both her craft and her academic pursuits. She has balanced a demanding filming schedule with her studies in Human Resource Development at Ramkhamhaeng University and Marketing at Rangsit University, reflecting a pragmatic approach to her long-term future. Standing at an impressive 177 cm (5'10"), she also remains a sought-after model and has appeared in several high-profile music videos for artists like Labanoon and Gemini. Today, Mint Ranchrawee represents a new generation of Thai stars: one that blends the physical discipline of an athlete with the emotional intelligence of a seasoned actress, securing her place as a beloved household name and a true icon of modern Thai culture.
