Bangkok, Thailand — The entertainment industry was rocked in November 2025 when allegations surfaced that Nana Raibina Tanwimon, wife of rapper DABOYWAY, was behind a massive financial scandal involving friends and investors. The controversy centers on claims of mismanaged investments and debts totaling up to 400 million baht.

The Backstory

Nana admitted during an emotional Instagram livestream that she borrowed money from friends and acquaintances to fund business ventures that ultimately failed. While she disputes the full 400 million baht figure, she acknowledged significant debts and pledged to repay them. Her husband, DABOYWAY, was reportedly unaware of the situation until it became public.

Victims include celebrities and private investors, some losing tens of millions of baht. Legal action is reportedly underway as attempts to resolve the matter privately have failed.

Allegations & Timeline

  • In mid-November 2025, a Facebook page called ท่านเปา published allegations that a major Thai actress had orchestrated a fraudulent investment scheme amounting to approximately 400 million baht. The rumour suggested she borrowed from friends and colleagues with promises of returns that never materialized.

  • This pointed to two actresses, with public speculation initially focusing on Woonsen, before shifting to Rybena “Nana” Tanwimon due to clues (initial “N”) and changes on social media, including celebrities unfollowing Nana.

Nana’s Response & Admission

  • Nana initially denied the claims but later openly admitted during an Instagram livestream that she was indeed the person referred to as “N.” She explained that she had borrowed from friends and acquaintances to fund her businesses, which ultimately failed.

  • She clarified that the mismanagement had led to bankruptcy. While she didn't confirm the full 400 million Thai Baht amount, she asserted that her total debt was under that amount.

  • Nana also emphasized that her husband, rapper Prinya “Way” Intachai "DABOYWAY," and their children were not aware of the situation until the scandal broke publicly.

Impact & Fallout

  • Following the livestream, Nana broke down in tears, issuing a public apology to friends and the wider community, and pledged to work hard to repay what she owed.

  • In efforts to generate funds, she listed a luxury house for 69 million baht and began daily livestream sales of various products. Social media channels have indicated that her live stream sales went from approximately 1,000 sales per day and increased to over 10,000 per day as her fan club and supportive communities are coming together to buy these products as a way to help her repay her debt.

  • There have also been noticeable social ramifications: Nana, who is part of a 2000's dream-girl social circle coyly coined as the " Gang of Angels" Nana unfollowed close friend Paula Taylor on Instagram following the debt controversy.

  • Separately, another member of the Gang of Angels, Janie Thienphosuwan broke down during the taping of a show on 9Entertain.

Who Were the Victims?

  • The alleged victims include friends, fellow celebrities (some losing tens of millions, with at least one reportedly losing her life savings), and private investors who were persuaded to put money into what turned out to be unsuccessful ventures.

  • Some victims are reportedly preparing legal action, gathering evidence after failing to resolve the issues privately.

  • Social media channels are suggesting approximately 50 million THB were from her close friends, so the question remains as to who the other investors are
